Axomiya AI Foundry is a community-driven, open-source initiative by Axomiya IT Labs focused on building open language resources and AI infrastructure for Assamese.

We work on the foundational resources that researchers, developers, educators, students, institutions, and communities need to build better Assamese language technology.

We are not trying to build another chatbot.

We are building the resources that others can build with.

Our work includes datasets, linguistic resources, speech resources, research materials, evaluation resources, documentation, and open-source infrastructure.

Assamese has a rich linguistic and cultural heritage, but the amount of openly available, structured, reusable digital infrastructure for modern AI research is still limited.

This creates challenges for people working on:
