FLAMEGPU2 was adopted while the maintainer's own HIP/ROCm draft PR (FLAMEGPU2#1379, opened 2026-04-13) sat open upstream; a full parallel port was built before anyone noticed. gRASPA shows the converse timing: a community HIP PR landed 13 days after adoption, which no screen can prevent -- but the FLAMEGPU2 case was checkable at intake time.
