Not working with new isel controllers

Dear zprime,
I have used your code with the older isel traverse system (C142-4) and it worked very well. Now we have several new traversing units with the new metal plug. The traversing unit can be connected but there are several problems (e.g. Reference drive is needed before each single movement). Today I tried to connect a MC1-20 controller and even the connection wasn't possible.
Do you have any idea, how to solve these troubles?

Hi, I have just found this code to control C142-4 but the connection fails. Is it needed to have extra drivers in order for the traverse to connect? The COM port is well detected but the connection is never stablished. Thanks

Hi, it’s a long time ago, that I dealed with that topic, but I think there were no additional drivers needed. To be honest we had the original software from isel on the computer, too.
