running on m1 mac

I'm trying to use the theme on my m1 MacBook air but when running npm install
for install front-end dependencies and builder.
it's failing and I'm getting those errors
npm ERR! gyp ERR! node -v v17.0.1
npm ERR! gyp ERR! node-gyp -v v3.8.0
npm ERR! gyp ERR! not ok
npm ERR! Build failed with error code: 1

I believe it's because of node-sass is deprecated

It's not the M1 Mac issue. You need to use node v14. If you are using brew, just
brew unlink node brew install node@14 brew link node@14

than check version by
node -v
