I have (only recently) watched your (Haskell Love 2021) talk - many thanks, and great! -
and hence had a look at this repository of yours (and thanks for sharing).
(And while not having looked at the code in much detail yet) what immediately came to my mind: a blog post by Gabriel Gonzales, where he shares his ideas of (what he calls) namespaced de Bruijn indices:

Another technique [?], under the umbrella of "de Bruijn" I guess, this could be an interesting addition to this repository maybe? (I am not sure, if I will have the time to provide code/patches though, sorry.)
