Unable to compile ctrlppcheck on alpine linux

In order to build a small docker image for usage in CI I tried to compile ctrlppcheck under alpine linux, but this seems impossible with the code in the repository.

Do you have some more information? Commands, logs ... ? The mentioned platform was never in our scope. That means, this can be feature request, but definitely not a bug.
But I assume, we will not provide new features in this repository.

I did not try to compile it under Debian Linux, but guess it would also fail to compile there since some files are missing.
For example 'lib/CMakeList.txt' uses the python script "${PROJECT_SOURCE_DIR}/tools/matchcompiler.py", but in the repository here is no 'tools' directory

Strange I provide today few changes and the builds in GH was ok. I never try to build it locally on Unix systems.

Due to a lack of build instructions here I have looked at the cppCheck build instructions/readme, which recommend this:
For release builds it is recommended that you use: -DUSE_MATCHCOMPILER=ON

This seems to be disabled in the 'createBundle' workflow here

everythink else is not supported - we can not grant that the options from original cppcheck will works also in this repository, as both tools have no more comparable code base.

That documentation is only for Windows, but the CMakeFile file enables 'USE_MATCHCOMPILER' for a release build (disabled for debug)

I think you can compile it as static binary and with docker multi stage builds create a tiny image

And what is the proposal? (please without spending tousend hours) From my side, I will just try to remove it from cmake and try to compile

Although a distroless image would be nice, we also use the (prebuilt) cppcheck-htmlreport & cppcheck-codequality (python) tools to make the output easier to consume. Spinning up another image(s) for those tools is not efficient
