Charging time has wrong final percent

The app and widget have “14h 20min to 100%” but the charging limit is 80%. The official app only has the time not the end percentage. Maybe change the wording from “to 100%” to “until charging finishes” or something? It would be handy to know the end percentage but that would require more updates in case someone changes the stop percentage.

Hmm, sounds like charging limits might not be listed correctly. What model do you have, and would you mind sharing the data from “export debug data” in settings?

Same symptom on a Kia EV9 (EU, CCS2), and I think I found the cause. There look to be two separate versions of it.

currentTargetSOC (VehicleStatus.swift:66) picks which limit to show based only on plugType, so a wrong plugType gets you the other limit.

The Kona export above is the legacy version. Parsed state is maybePlugType: 1, targetSocAC: 80, targetSocDC: 100, so it showed the DC limit while the car was on AC. Your 1ef9508 probably covers that if the car reports batteryPlugin 3 or 4. If it actually reports 1 on AC it's still broken, so it's worth re-testing with beren12 before closing that half.

The CCS2 version is definitely still broken. .pluggedIn maps to Green.ChargingInformation.ConnectorFastening.State (HyundaiEuEnums.swift:42), and that value goes straight into PlugType(fromBatteryPlugin:) at KiaEuropeAPIClient+Parsing.swift:141 and HyundaiEuropeAPIClient+Parsing.swift:126. It isn't a plug type. hyundai_kia_connect_api only uses it for ev_battery_is_plugged_in, and evcc labels it // 1 connected. Any plugged-in CCS2 car reports 1, which always lands on .dcCharger.

From my EV9 on AC at 4.3 kW, running 2026.7.2 (59):

ConnectorFastening.State = 1
TargetSoC = { Standard: 80, Quick: 90 }
→ maybePlugType: 1, targetSocAC: 80, targetSocDC: 90
→ widget showed 90

The annoying bit is that CCS2 doesn't seem to expose AC vs DC at all. I checked hyundai_kia_connect_api, kia_uvo, evcc, bluelinky and ioBroker, and none of them classify it. Two things I ruled out: ElectricCurrentLevel.State is a charging current level ({1: 100%, 2: 90%, 3: 60%} in kia_uvo/const.py), not a plug type. And comparing Charging.RemainTime against EstimatedTime.Quick/Standard/ICCB doesn't work, because RemainTime follows actual power. Mine was 220 against 90/21/390.

Best ideas I have. Treat RealTimePower above the car's max AC input as DC, and anything below as unknown rather than AC, since a tapering DC session sits right in the AC range. Or back-solve the active target from RemainTime × RealTimePower against BatteryCapacity.Value and take the nearer of Standard/Quick. On my capture that's 220 min × 4.3 kW = 15.8 kWh of 99.8, so 64% + 15.8 ≈ 80, which is Standard. One data point, so take it for what it's worth.

I can grab a capture on a DC charger if that helps. I couldn't find a public CCS2 dump taken while fast charging anywhere, so it might be useful beyond this issue.
