Update for Conventional 1.0

I know that some of the last additions were based on this crate, so I don't know if any updates are actually needed but wanted to at least get this here to discuss it.

I believe there are some minor changes still required, but I haven't had the time to dig in yet. As mentioned in #11 it'll probably be a while before I can dig into this due to my job search taking precedence right now.

I'll keep this open until we know what needs to change, and those changes are made.
