It is very challenging to quantify the overhead of CVEAssert across different workloads accurately. Developing a microbenchmark suite will help us to quantify the overhead induced by RESOLVE's remediations and perform isolation testing against CVEAssert and Libresolve components and associated optimizations. We have considered using the phoronix testing suite. ASan, SoftBoundsCETS, and other solutions found in literature use SPEC CPU along with some real-world applications to quantify the overhead of their approaches (ie. Nginx, OpenSSL, GCC, etc..).
