[BUG] Text cut off during translation

Describe the Bug
When I try to translate text, I frequently encounter cut-off's where the English text is too wide to fit in the translation box and it does not shrink enough to fit the rest of the text in it. This occurs even when I make the text very large!

Steps to Reproduce

1. Find a source of Chinese text - I used Google Translate to generate some.
2. Try to translate with ViewLingo.
3. See if the text is cut off.

Expected Behavior
Able to read the sentences with adequate padding around the edges.

Actual Behavior
Text was cut off at the edges of the translation window.

Thanks for the detailed report and screenshots — they made the failure mode easy to pin down. zh→en is the hardest direction for this since English text expands so much compared to the original Chinese.

Reading the overlay renderer, we found a likely cause matching your screenshots: single-line segments are currently excluded from the box-expansion path, and font shrinking has a floor at 45% of the base size. Combined, a long English translation of a one-line Chinese source can end up clipped exactly as you showed. We still need to confirm this on a device before calling it the root cause.

This is now tracked internally and a fix is being worked on for an upcoming update. I'll update this issue when it ships. Glad to hear the app is otherwise working well for you!
