Using the new getcompletion() function

In the latest patches (which will become Vim 8) :h getcompletion() has been added. Could it be used in vim-niffler to simplify things or do it need more advanced features not supported by getcompletion()?

I understand that using this would make niffler only work in Vim 8 which is bad but interesting discussion anyway :)

Hmm this is an interesting idea, I hadn't thought of adding completion support to Niffler. I would probably lean towards not including it in the core but maybe putting an example up of how to configure it using niffler#custom. That would also nicely get around the Vim 8 requirement since anyone could opt into the functionality.

Not 100% sure how it would work in any case, but would be interesting to take a look once Vim 8 is released.
