modified field only updates on save, but not on findOneAndUpdate

This plugin is great!
But it seems like it only works when you make a Schema.save(), but not when you use Schema.findOneAndUpdate().

Maybe it's not even possible to implement this, but it's a limitation.

I don't think It's possible. The save call goes through Mongoose, while findOneAndUpdate issues an update directly to MongoDB, without calling the save() function in Mongoose.
