The new payload for collections is largely described in #35, but there are some objects that need to be resolved.
One object grouping is intended to be called "environment". Although this maps to only a single field in PBDB - i.e., environment - the list of accepted terms and whether additional information about hierarchy should be included needs to be worked out.
