Dev branch?

There seems to be quite a bit of work done on the dev branch which hasn't been brought over to master. Any particular reason why this is happening? /cc @palladin @anirothan

I think that on dev brach there are some of @anirothan's contributions. I don't think there is any particular reason (probably we forgot to merge dev back to master). We should probably ask @anirothan about those commits.
