Could you address my comment on #29 before we do this?
Addition details :-
Often when you add / remove log files in the webapp, the status drop down list turns blank. It may be a good idea to put another value in place of showing blank text. Steps to reproduce -

1. Add two log files
2. Add first log file in path filter drop down list
3. Remove first log file
   Alternatively, we could close all filters on removing log files. Can you reproduce it? It's really trivial and it's ok if we don't fix it
