The April 2025 update for Windows Server images has been delayed

The Windows Containers team has identified an issue with the April 2025 (4B) update for Windows Server container images. They have temporarily rolled back the floating tags for mcr.microsoft.com/windows/servercore to the March 2025 update for all Windows Server versions. This also affects the .NET Framework images since they are based on those images.

According to our image update policy, we will update the .NET container images when the Windows base images have been updated. Thank you for your patience while the Windows team investigates this issue.
