On first setup country selection 'de' gets replaced by 'da' on confirmation and setup

After setting a language on the initial screen, on the second setup a country must be selected for the school.

On the final confirmation screen, however, country "da" is shown. After the setup the language of the interface is set to "da" (Danish). When instead of confirming the setting, the "Back"-button is pushed, the first screen still displays "de" as language, however the second screen shows "da" as country of school. When changing to "de" the final screen also shows "de" and the webui is in German after the final confirmation.

I tried many times the setup wizard with many languages, and I'm not able to reproduce this, I think I need more informations about this.

Are you testing with the last package or with the last commit on git ?
Browser ? Empty cache in browser ?

The error still exists as of today - sorry, I thought I had updated today, but do not see my comment now.
I was able to reproduce it, but only on Apple Safari browser. It can be reproduced as this:

1. During setup in WebUI enter school data
2. Press "Continue"
3. On the follow-up-screen press "Return"

Then the country changes to "da". This behaviour is only in Safari, not in Chrome browser.

We are currently testing the WebUI with Firefox and Chrome, I don't know how to install Safari in Debian.
@PLanB2008 has maybe an idea for this ?

Safari is kind of a niche browser. Problem is there is no safari for an operating system besides mac os. The windows client was discontinued some years ago and there never was an Linux client. I could provide you a virtual machine running mac os but due to artificial limitations by apple this runs pretty poorly. I'll look into this. Am 24. I can confirm the issue.

I'm not sure what triggers the issue. It seems only to happen if you use TAB to tab trough the options in the school-information window.

Theres nothing special about this dropdown.

Keep in mind @RolandBBerlin : This value does not define the language webui provides. This value is only used for the self signed certificate.

The language is defined in the first screen (welcome screen) and is not provided in the summary. This option is configurable after the setup in the webui settings (new module)
