This is a long-standing bug that was present in 1.x. My user doesn't have a Tax ID. When I go into Settings -> Company Information, the Tax ID field defaults to "TAX123456789". I delete this field, save, and continue using Invio. I don't touch my company settings again. For the client(s) that I create, I also leave their Tax ID field blank.
At some point later, I generate an invoice, and it shows "Tax ID: TAX123456789" under my information. The client (correctly) doesn't have a Tax ID shown, but for some reason it came back for me. I go back to my settings, and there under "Tax ID", it once again shows "TAX123456789". I delete the string, save, go back and generate the invoice, and the invoice (correctly) doesn't show a Tax ID for me.
Then a month later I go to create another invoice and.. The "Tax ID: TAX123456789" stuff is back.
