Triage: keep, upgrade, or retire?

Why this issue exists

Flagged during a 2026-04-24 GitHub hygiene pass. Last push 2021-04-10 (~5.0y stale). This repo is public so it shows on the profile — kept for now but triage needed.

Current state

• Public, Python, OpenCV
• Description: "Python OpenCV Computer Vision Project for personal learning purposes"
• README present

Paths forward

Update (if you want this as a public CV learning artifact)

• Rewrite README in the newer style: prose description + ## Quick Start with working commands
• Pin dependency versions (requirements.txt or pyproject.toml)
• Verify the examples still run on current OpenCV
• Add an example output (image/GIF)
• Add LICENSE (MIT)
• Add topics: opencv, computer-vision, python, learning

Retire

• Archive — keeps it on the profile as a read-only learning artifact
• Delete if the learning is fully internalized and the code has no portfolio value

Decision deadline

Close or act on this within 3 months, else default to archive (since it's public and stale).
