Facets creation

Hello,

I work on NADA 5.4.

To improve the search on the catalog, I wanted to create new facets, especially facets on variables, using the functionnality in the admin page : /admin/facets/create

However, when selecting a XML tag with attribute (example : variable*), the functionnality isn't working correctly. The attribute isn't showing.

We've corrected this issue with IT in my institution.

Unfortunately, this wasn't the biggest issue. Now that I can set up the facet and select the tag + attribute, the facet doesn't work.
It seem that the indexation of the terms doesn't work correctly.

I've tested various fields, some are working correctly (ie : study_desc/production_statement/producers*), but the ones outside of doc_desc or study_desc are not working (ie : variables*, data_files*, variable_groups*)

Could you have a look on that issue ? It would be a nice improvment to enable the user to filter the catalog base on the variables

Hi @ceracine - The facets at the variable level are not supported. Currently, you can only create facets for the elements at the study level.

Let me see if we can enable facets for variables/groups and data files.
