Installation fails on Mac OS X (even for version 1.14)

I tried to install both within R and by the R CMD instruction, but I got the error below. Likewise, I tried to install it under Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS, and it fails as well.

Hello, I am facing the same issue. Installation fails on Mac. Tried - devtools::install_github and R CMD install; no success. Any help will be appreciated.

This error goes back to deprecated header <ext/hash_map> in pc.h that needs to be updated to <tr1/unordered_map>. This also has to be updated in bed2vector.cpp

After updating this, it ends up giving linker error and I have been unable to figure that out
