SVG logo

I would like to contribute an icon for the Vroom language in VSCode. For this I need an SVG version of the logo. Is one available? Alternatively it would already be helpful if I know what font is used.

I don't think we have anything other than what was added in 950daff.

It looks like the font might be Open Sans (medium/500 weight)?

I generated the logo using https://danmarshall.github.io/google-font-to-svg-path/?font-select=Open+Sans&font-variant=500&input-union=false&input-filled=true&input-kerning=false&input-separate=false&input-text=VRoom&input-bezier-accuracy=&dxf-units=cm&input-size=100&input-fill=%23000&input-stroke=%23000&input-strokeWidth=0&input-fill-rule=evenodd. Parameters in that URL are applied as soon as you make an adjustment.

It feels close, but somehow the o’s in the logo seem more round to me. The larger the size, the more apparent this is. I also acknowledge I’m not great at recognizing fonts, so maybe it’s just me. Perhaps @groschovskiy remembers as the original author. Also it seems there should be less spacing between characters, but that can be solved using Inkscape.

I’m ok with using Open Sans if you think it’s a good representation.
