Idea: Try PyGambit

On https://numpy.org/ they have this section which lets you run some code in the browser:

On the Gambit website, we could have a "Try PyGambit" section that has a few lines of example code that can run in the browser, maybe:

• Define a simple game and compute the Nash eq in a few lines of code
• Define a simple game and render with draw_tree

This isn't going to work with Pyodide in the browser because that requires any Python packages to be installable via a pure Python 3 wheel, whereas pygambit includes compiled C++ code. The only option to use Pyodide would involve hosting an external server/API, but I think that's not worth the effort. A better option might be to make the tutorials on the Gambit docs site interactive via Binder or Colab, however I'm not convinced this adds much over encouraging users to run them locally

On second thought, could we compile Gambit against WASM instead of x86?

That's certainly a possibility. I've never tried it myself. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work in principle?
