I think it would be nice to include a bit of history about the project including it's origins in a kind of timeline diagram with major milestones such as integration of key algorithms and user interfaces, perhaps including future (GUI, PyGambit API, LLM).
- The headline thing I want this to communicate is for newcomers that this both was and is the go-to Game theory software over the course of decades, responding to changes in the landscape of computing/research and currently being both maintained for the existing userbase and expanded for the AI era
- Some of the info here can be re-used for this
- Going up to the present day, e.g. From Natural Language to Extensive-Form Game Representations
