I think it would be a great addition to have a moodboard type of layout in View options. Moodboard basically should be an adaptive version of current tile mode. Moodboard should vertically stretch the thumbnails to display the whole thumbnail true to its ratio rather than displaying them partially in a fixed ratio like in current tiled layout. Horizontally they can remain fixed and work same way as tiled.
