Filament runout

When running a print my ace ran out of filament and printer stopped saying filament feeding error when i put new roll in the ace fed it to the 4 to 1 and then pulled it back slightly. I then hit resume on printer it move to loadind zone and said loading filament but the ace never activated to feed the filament to the extruder. I am on the latest firmware multiace setup with two aces one on head one and one on head two. v0.99.5b-pre+9788603f

It is supposed to work, I would need your logs if it didn't. See instructions in readme.
