As a somewhat advanced spark-newcomer I have realized that there is not so much concise Spark best-practice literature out there. I was thrilled after finding your spark-knowledgebase. Unfortunately it does seem to be one of these repos that started active, but then nothing ever happens.
I took the liberty to setup a spark best practices repo, including a voting-scheme to be able to decide on a community-vote basis about best-practices: https://github.com/prene/SparkItUp
I'd be happy if you might be interested in actively collaborating on this repo. A well-structured and concise best-practice information hub for Spark would certainly serve the Spark-community (especially somewhat advanced newcomers).
