P1S & Panda Touch - Error HMS_0500_0500_0001_0007 (Cloud Mode)

Hello, I am experiencing a persistent error with my Panda Touch connected to a Bambu Lab P1S via Cloud Mode. I use Cloud Mode to maintain compatibility with Bambu Studio.

While basic commands like "Light On/Off" work perfectly, most control functions fail. When I try to:

• Start a print from the SD card files.-
• Perform a "Home" operation.
• Change Nozzle or Bed temperatures.
• And more....

The Panda Touch displays the following error:
HMS_0500_0500_0001_0007 : Panda Touch unknown status code

Hardware & Software Configuration

• Printer: Bambu Lab P1S
• Printer Firmware: v01.09.01.00
• Panda Touch Firmware: v1.0.7.1
• AMS Firmware: v00.00.06.75
• Connection Type: Cloud Mode (Bambu Cloud)

Steps Taken

• Verified Wi-Fi connection (Stable).
• Confirmed that the Light control works (indicating partial MQTT communication).
• Restarted both the printer and the Panda Touch.
• Performed a full Factory Reset of the Panda Touch, but the issue persists after re-configuration.

Check the wiki page of Panda Touch. Since a firmware update of our printers, the Panda Touch can't control nothing.
There's only 2 solutions:

• Downgrade you printers firmware; or
• Use printer in Lan mode.

I ran into the same issue. this has nothing to do with the firmware on the bambu printers...

What it actually is. whenever you restart the printer or touch. Go to the settings in the printer (second button down (below the home button)). You MUST set the filament type when using an ams. it does not matter what you set it to, or if you set them all.

From my experience, as long as you set the first one with "something" in the filament type field (aka not a "?") then the printer will print using the ams without issue!

I found the solution. I downgrade the firmware of the printer P1S.

just downgrade the firmware of the p1s if you still wanna use it for now.
lets just wait for the new firmware update from the BTT sides. hopefully

To use Panda Touch the way it was intended (replace the original. analog screen) your only choices are 1) downgrade printer firmware to 01.08.00.00, or 2) wait for an update to the Panda Touch firmware. If I had seen that my printer firmware - 01.10.00.00 - is not supported, I would not have bought the Panda Touch. I no longer use it.

Who actually provides Panda Touch firmware updates?
