[P3] Audit: Capture user interest in extension or desktop distribution

Problem: the PWA install path is useful, but some repeat users may want faster access through an extension-style or desktop-style launcher. The site does not currently provide a way to capture that demand.

Affected areas:

• Install App page
• About page
• Contact page
• Public roadmap

Reproduction steps:

1. Open Install App, About, Pricing, and Contact pages.
2. Look for a public roadmap item for alternate distribution formats.
3. Check whether users can vote or request this feature.

Expected behavior: users should be able to express interest without the project committing to implementation immediately.

Actual behavior: the PWA path is documented, but alternate distribution interest is not captured.

Impact: missed feedback from high-frequency users.

Proposed fix:

• Add a public roadmap item for alternate launchers.
• Link it from Install App and Contact pages.
• Document privacy and permission considerations before implementation.
• Use votes/comments to decide whether to build it.

Acceptance criteria:

• Roadmap item exists and is easy to find.
• Users can vote or comment.
• Privacy considerations are documented before any implementation work.

Closed as completed by the canonical BF audit backlog work. This older non-BF audit issue duplicates work now merged through PRs #209-#219, with the BF issues closed and guard/test coverage in place. The remaining non-duplicate follow-up is #7, which stays open because the upstream Next/PostCSS advisory is not fixed yet.

Reopened after closure audit. Distribution research and a roadmap item exist, but this older audit issue's acceptance criteria explicitly require users to be able to vote or comment on alternate launcher demand. Current product surface links to a generic feature request form; it does not expose a clear distribution-specific vote/comment path. Keep open until the voting/request flow is completed with BF-057/#176.
