Problem: many tool pages include a complete usage guide, but some sections feel too generic and repeat across unrelated tools. This makes the pages less useful for users and weaker for organic discovery.
Affected page type:
- Tool pages across Data & Code Formats, Encoding & Crypto, Web/API, Text, Image, Generator, and Social categories.
Reproduction steps:
- Open several tool pages such as JSON Formatter, JWT Decoder, HTTP Request Builder, Regex Tester, Image Resizer, and UUID Generator.
- Compare their usage guide sections, FAQ items, quality checklists, and operational notes.
- Identify repeated paragraphs that do not describe the specific tool’s behavior, edge cases, or examples.
Expected behavior: each tool page should have unique guidance, real examples, boundary cases, error examples, and precise workflow notes.
Actual behavior: the page structure is helpful, but some guide content does not add enough tool-specific value.
Impact: lower perceived quality, weaker search visibility, and fewer reasons for users to trust the guide over other online tools.
Proposed fix:
- Review top tool pages for repeated generic sections.
- Add specific sample inputs and outputs.
- Add tool-specific errors and fixes.
- Add input-size limits, privacy boundaries, and edge cases where relevant.
- Move repeated privacy or general workflow copy to shared docs and link to it.
Acceptance criteria:
- Priority tool pages have unique examples and troubleshooting notes.
- Each reviewed tool page includes at least one real-world workflow and one boundary-case example.
- Repeated generic guidance is reduced.
- Page titles and descriptions match each tool’s specific search intent.
