I'm trying to implement fit decoder in a droidscript application (Android), but can't load the script. Any advice on how to do this? Thx.

Hi Thx for your reply. Droidscript works a little bit different. It uses Javascript but scripts are loaded differently. (see below) The first error was that "require constants" in fit2json.js was not recognized. I copied then constants.js into fit2json.js. The script then loaded without errors but the command const powerArray = fitDecoder.getRecordFieldValue(json, 'record', 'power'); returned the error that fitDecoder is not defined. In the past I could load scripts like e.g. moment.js in Droidscript and then use its commands later. @gogolo2 , it looks like Droidscript doesn't support importing at all. Everything has to be in the same file. This repo has no library dependencies, but the code is split into several files.
If you copy all functions from all files in src folder the same way you did with constants.js, and remove require statements, it should be able to find all required functions.

Thx very much for your help. I added everything, same problem though. Maybe I didn't do it right? Should index.js also be included and the require statements all deleted? Is a certain order necessary?

Ok, this will require a bit of hacking. What you want to do is to have all functions in one file. Then you can just call them without any namespaces like fitDecoder. I'm attaching an example with everything cleaned up.

At the end you can see the function calls:

Thanks very much for your help. If I see it correctly the example.fit file now would be loaded by fit2json.js. Again require('fs' ) is not recognized by Droidscript.

The fit file would therefore have to be loaded by Droidscript. After commenting out the last part in fit2json.js I tried the following code at the bottom in Droidscript but get a error "cannot read property 'slice' of undefined source" (although example.fit loads fine).

Sorry, I just may do it wrong. Here the code which I tried:

Hi @gogolo2 I think may be you're loading some other files at the same time. The version I've uploaded should be able to do what you want. It has all mentions of fs and all requires commented out, so it shouldn't complain about it.

Could you please doublecheck what are you copying there?
