Excalidraw: Esc does not exit Arrow tool when sidebar is open

Description

When the sidebar is open, pressing Esc while using Excalidraw's Arrow tool does not exit the Arrow tool as expected.
The issue occurs consistently every time the sidebar is open. But disappears in zen mode/hidden sidebar.
Definitely a minor bug but annoying for my use case.

Just open sidebar and Excalidraw and place some arrow.

Thanks for the clear report, this one reproduced on the first try.

What was happening. With Vim mode on, ZenNotes runs a window-level key router that, once no text editor holds focus, hands every key it does not recognise to the open sidebar. There, Escape means "back to the editor", and it was consumed before Excalidraw's own handler ever saw it. That is why hiding the sidebar or Zen mode made it work: with no sidebar to route into, the key fell through to the canvas.

The fix (8444bb3, ships in 2.42.0): a focused Excalidraw canvas now owns its keys, so Escape leaves the Arrow tool (or any tool), tool letters, arrow nudges and Delete all reach Excalidraw with the sidebar open. The global bindings that are meant to work from inside a drawing still do: the leader on a Space tap, gt/gT, and Ctrl+W to move into the sidebar. Clicking into a drawing also claims the keyboard the way the editor does, so the sidebar stops highlighting the row that opened the drawing.

Verified on the built app: with the sidebar open, a then Escape now goes from Arrow back to Selection.

Closing as fixed; it will be in the 2.42.0 release. If it still misbehaves for you after updating, comment here and I will reopen.
