Script-cover does not work on chrome extention.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Install .crx file for our application
2.Try to see if Script-cover works 


What is the expected output? What do you see instead?



Please provide any additional information below.

We have our application with is JAVAscript based application but its an 
extension and we want to do code coverage analysis for the same but some how 
script-cover doesn't work. 
Is this supported ? Any workarounds?

There may be an javascript error happening. I ran into the same issue. Please 
turn on the javascript console to check whether there is an error/exception
