"Packet was larger than I expected" Disconect Error

I tried adding Music Triggers and The Impossible Library to my server with ~ 250 mods on it and I couldn't join, being kicked with the below message:

[net.minecraft.client.multiplayer.ClientCommonPacketListenerImpl/]: Client disconnected with reason: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet play/serverbound/minecraft:custom_payload (ServerboundCustomPayloadPacket) was larger than I expected, found 1932 bytes extra whilst reading packet serverbound/minecraft:custom_payload

I then tried it on a freshly downloaded NeoForge server with only these two mods and the same issue is happening. not sure which logs to post as there was no crash, so here are both latest and debug from client and server uploaded to mclo.gs

Same issue, very frustraiting as these network issues have persisted for a long time now.
Like don`t get me wrong, it is an awesome mod, and big props to the dev for bringing such mod to forge.
