that would be crazy , yes there are 2 mods that try to do that but both mods are broken and last update was 2 months ago if possible it would be a life saver

Thank you for the suggestion, and sorry for the late reply. This issue got buried in my inbox for a few days.

I completely understand why this would be useful. It is also unfortunate that Replication AE2 Bridge and Applied Replicatics do not seem to be actively maintained, because a reliable AE2 bridge for Replication would be a very nice thing to have.

That said, I think the foundation needed for this mod and the foundation needed for deep AE2 integration are quite different.

Replicated Integration is currently focused on matter-value and recipe-conversion integration. On the other hand, an AE2 bridge would need to work much more directly with AE2 storage, crafting, terminals, and Replication's own systems. In practice, that would likely be close to creating a separate new mod.

If this mod ever grows into something more like "Replication Additions", I might reconsider this kind of feature. For now, though, I do not want to start it lightly unless I can give it enough time and care to make it work properly.

I would rather avoid creating another incomplete bridge, especially when the existing situation is already frustrating for users.

So for now, I think this is outside the current scope of Replicated Integration, but I do appreciate the idea.

To be clear, I do have some interest in making a bridge that works properly someday. I think it would be a very exciting feature. :)

However, the fact that several projects have already tried something similar and still ended up with limitations or maintenance problems suggests that this is not a small or simple task.
