There are so many plugins on BBB, it's prob one of the biggest markets after Spigot & Modrinth, probably bigger than Polymart or Hangar.

Would be great if we can auto update plugins there, too.

If it requires premium API key, then it can be specified in config, so these who have it could auto update it.

As the REST API requires a paid plan this isn't something I'd be able to test and develop so I've labelled this issue as help wanted in the hopes that someone with a plan would implement this :)

For testing & developing a subscription at least for one month $10 would be required. User's have to specify their own api key then.

There is a Java wrapper which looks slightly outdated.
Not sure if there are already good enough other solutions.

I for myself would consider it out of scope at least as long no api key / donation in that size is supplied. Might also only be useful for limited users.

Supporting a more open platform like voxel shop would prop make more sense: https://voxel.shop/wiki/api
