Backspace Button Bug

Describe the bug
When turning on select mode and swipe on spacebar for selecting, and when i hit backspace the selected text does not get removed but when doing the same thing on the other way around the text does get removed. watch the video it explains better.
(this also happens in text editor button)

This issue happened to me on Kiss launcher search and Telegram.

Expected behavior
I expected that selected text get removed.

version: v3.9.9
flavor: offline (but i suspect it exists in all flavors)
