Thanks for building this project, the UI looks clean, and I like that some features I miss from Neptune are present here.
I had a few questions regarding architecture and roadmap:
-
Frontend hosting
The backend runs locally, but the UI is accessed via your hosted domain.
Are there plans to make the frontend fully self-hostable, so that both backend and UI can run entirely locally (similar to TensorBoard)?
I'm working with sensitive experiment data and having a fully local setup is mandatory.
-
Project roadmap
Could you share your roadmap for the project?
Are you aiming for feature parity with Neptune?
-
Data privacy and trust model
Since this project is relatively new, could you clarify the data flow when using the hosted frontend with a local backend?
Specifically:
- Is any experiment data transmitted to your servers?
- Is telemetry collected?
- Is the frontend fully open-source and reproducible?
I’m considering migrating a large number of experiments and would like to better understand the long-term direction and data guarantees before doing so.
Thanks again for your work on this!
