Feature Request

I suggest adding a "Rename File" option in the area I’ve boxed in the screenshot. For the text input field, please set the default text to "Leave blank by default."

Hi @nichousha123, thanks for opening an issue! I don't plan on putting a rename file box there specifically, but version 1.6.1 will include the ability to change the output file name in Settings. I don't believe this is exactly what you are asking for, but I hope that this should be sufficient and allow for more flexibility.

As long as there is a feature to change the compressed filename, that’s fine. My current workflow is to rename the compressed video in the file manager after compression

I don't believe this is exactly what you are asking for, but I hope that this should be sufficient and allow for more flexibility.

I want a way to re-encode H.264 videos to H.265, keeping the quality nearly the same, and then automatically replace the original file with the smaller H.265 version to save storage space.
