Outdated formatting style guide

Style guide needs to be updated

pyproject.toml uses ruff but in docs/contributing/style_guide.md it is suggested to use black and isorted.

uv run ruff format . --config pyproject.toml
or
uv run ruff format .

Yes you're right! We'll discuss all of these easy changes in our call in a few min, there's a few things I may have missed/forgotten about since I haven't installed from scratch recently
