USB joystick support? #283

I can't get Retroarch to recognize my usb joystick.
Used ArkManager USB->Wifi mode switch and it can see the controller. I select it for mode switch and saved the config but it still doesn't appear in the retropad binds/port controls, the device index is empty (aside from supergamepad)
What am i missing?
